Ernest and the Pale Moon

After a violent storm, a brave young girl finds herself lost in a world that bears no relation to her own. A magic land of potent poppy fields, ferocious flying monkeys and rogue rulers.
Join us this Christmas on the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. Will Dorothy have the heart, courage and wit to take on the Great and Powerful Oz in order to find her way home? Sometimes the smallest voice can shout the loudest.
This new production by Tobacco Factory Theatres and Pins and Needles is based on the original The Wizard of Oz books by L. Frank Baum. With imaginative storytelling, original music and humour for all the family, OZ will transport you to lands both wicked and wonderful.
Tobacco Factory Theatres is delighted to be co-producing this Christmas with Pins and Needles, the creative team behind the 2020 Olivier award-nominated West End hit Oi Frog and Friends and the 2018 UK Theatre award-winning Little Mermaid.
“Dorothy is a kick-boxing, public-speaking, glass-ceiling-shattering rockstar in red Docs.” Broadway World
“As weird and wonderful as any child could imagine.” B24/7
“If you’re only seeing one show this Christmas make it this one. And, if you’re seeing two shows this Christmas, make it this one twice.” Backstage Bristol
